My name is Dalia Stokes. As far back as I can remember, I have loved to decorate. As a small child I would get up at the crack of dawn to go treasure hunting with my mother at local flea markets, garage and estate sales. Many years later I pursued my dream of owning a shop and filling it with treasures.

I have a wonderful family that has helped me realize my dream. My husband Nick, and two marvelous children, Angelic and Alexander.

Stokes Chic Antiques is located in the small west Texas town, of Abilene. Situated on the mesquite plains, under a big blue sky. Our business began at a local antique mall but grew quickly, necessitating the need for more space. The doors opened to our current location, in the fall of 2006. Business has flourished thanks to our great customers, who have wholeheartedly received our unique style.

I thank God for giving me the courage to leave a corporate job and good salary to pursue my passion and dream. I feel blessed to wake up every day. I love what I do!
